I was asked by Lyn, one of my readers, to share the name of where Brit Boy and I went last Friday. She grew up in Oxfordshire, which isn’t far from where we live, and she was interested in finding out where the garden centre was located. I think it's cool that she grew up not far from where I live now and she lives in Florida which is right next to Georgia where I come from. It's a small world. (smile) Well, this one’s for you Lyn, in the spirit of full disclosure (smile). The garden centre is a place called Dobbies and it is located on the outer edges of Cirencester…in the Cotswolds. I really love going there. They have a little bit of everything. The building where they are located was repurposed from a former factory and given its current barn ambiance. I love that.
It’s a nice place to visit on a spring or summer day :-)
I love the Cotswolds. It has been a number of years since I have been there, but I remember it being beautiful.

Heidi,
I hope you get a chance to visit really soon. I think you'd really love it :)

It is cool that we are living reversed lives. LOL. I'm glad that I found you too :)
Ivanhoe,
LOL. Yeah, I figured that my little meez needed to get up and get some exercise and break out the crocs. LOL. Ah spring! :)
Fitness Diva,
You're so right! They have particular ways of saying the names of the towns and I'm finally becoming kinda native in my pronunciation. Of course I have a slight Southern twang, so it gets interesting. LOL.
Renee,
I'm glad you like my little adventure log here :) I feel the same way about your blog. I can't wait to see what you're up to next. And see Renee, I knew we were kindred spirits, I love the garden thing big time :)
Mike,
I hope you get over here soon. It's an interesting place :) I'll keep you posted until you can get over here.
Anne in Oxfordshire,
Oh yeah, it's a cool place. Very relaxed and just chocked full of wonderful gardeny stuff. I hope you like it :)
Jewelry Rockstar,
I'm looking forward to summer and having the chance to go visit some of the gardens at some more of the stately homes. It's a real thrill :)
